Last 14 November 2024, the Association of Private Hospitals in Ireland held its annual conference 2024 in the beautiful Barberstown Castle in Dublin.
Under the overarching theme “Empowering Healthcare Professionals: Enhancing Skills, Wellbeing, and Excellence in Private Hospitals”, a range of experts discussed the main challenges faced by the health sector and shared experiences and best practices to ensure everybody is working together to deliver the highest level of patient centred healthcare across the health system in Ireland.
The day was structured around three main sessions:
- Achieving Excellence in Healthcare
- Empowering those who deliver Healthcare
- Innovation in the delivery of Healthcare
UEHP Secretary General, Ms Ilaria Giannico (right), attended the conference on behalf of UEHP. In the words of Mr Jim Daly (left), CEO of the Irish Association of Private Hospitals, “Having UEHP attending the conference is a recognition of the benefits of collaboration across Europe in the interests of patients.”
