The Green Index, an annual barometer created in 2012 by CAHPP, measures the corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitments of listed suppliers.
CAHPP is an associate member of UEHP.
In 2025, 401 suppliers participated in the Green Index, 96 more than in 2024.

- Medical devices and implantable medical devices sector: Brothier Laboratoires (A++)
- Commissary sector: Foussier (A++)
- Equipment sector: Socamel (A++)
- Hygiene sector: Anios (A++)
- Ligatures and sutures sector: Johnson & Johnson (A++)
- Services sector: Record (A++)
- Catering sector: DS Restauration (A++)
- Best new entry: Mulliez-Flory (A+)
- Best progress: Smeg (A+)
- Special ‘Trusted Partner’ award: Laboratoire Rivadis (A++)
For the record, the score awarded by the Green Index is based on 40 questions divided into five themes:
- waste management,
- water and energy management,
- consumption optimisation,
- responsible sourcing,
- supplier selection.
Some questions are common to all sectors, while others are tailored to specific industries. In 2025, the assessment criteria were strengthened.
‘Some questions, which had become commonplace, have been replaced by others that now focus on product life cycles, responsible purchasing, biodiversity, the environmental impact of production, and pooling,’ explains Isabelle Hamelin, Director of Public Relations, Communications and CSR at CAHPP.
