The European Alliance for Value in Health (EAVH) is collecting Value Based Healthcare case studies within Europe. The aim is to build a library of initiatives that demonstrate practical implementation (whether at the hospital, regional, or national level) and to share insights that can support learning and replication.
This will hopefully supplement existing work in this area, such as the ICHOM case studies.
They are interested in VBHC initiatives/ projects/ programmes that aim to improve health outcomes relative to cost. This may include:
- Improving patient outcomes in a measurable way
- Aligning care delivery with what matters to patients
- Enhancing value by optimizing resource use
- Fostering collaboration across stakeholders (e.g. providers, payers, industry, patients)
