Last 8 November, a small delegation of the EU Health Coalition attended a meeting with MEP Tomislav Sokol at the European Parliament, in the framework of the manifesto outreach initiative by the Coalition.
Our Secretary General, Ms Giannico, took part in the meeting, as the European Union of Private Hospitals (UEHP) has been a member of the Coalition since 2018. In her contribution to the discussion, she focused on the recommendation on upskilling the healthcare workforce and achieving the digital transformation of our healthcare systems, as well as on the healthcare workforce crisis.
We thank MEP Tomislav Sokol for the fruitful discussion about the Coalition’s Manifesto for a Healthier Europe, including people-centricity, data, health workforce, and making the EU a true research and innovation hub.
