On 19-21 January, our honorary President, Dr Paul GARASSUS, and our Secretary General, Ms Ilaria Giannico, participated in the French Healthcare Business Forum in Paris, an important gathering of leaders and innovators shaping the future of healthcare.
The forum provided a valuable platform to exchange insights on healthcare systems, innovation, and cross-border collaboration, while engaging with key stakeholders from across the French and international healthcare ecosystem.
We appreciated the high-quality discussions, meaningful networking opportunities, and the chance to share perspectives on current challenges and opportunities in healthcare. Events like this reinforce the importance of dialogue and partnership in building more resilient and sustainable healthcare solutions.
In the framework for the Business Forum, we were pleased to participate in the Business at OECD & French Healthcare Association High-Level Roundtable “Health and Life Sciences Competitiveness”, bringing the perspective of Europe’s private hospitals and healthcare providers to this high-level policy discussion.
The roundtable addressed key challenges and opportunities for strengthening Europe’s competitiveness in health and life sciences, including the need for innovation-friendly regulatory frameworks, sustainable investment conditions, and resilient healthcare systems.

Our Honorary President, Dr Paul GARASSUS, highlighted the essential role of private healthcare providers in complementing public health systems by delivering capacity, fostering innovation, and contributing to high-quality, safe and personalized patient care across Europe.
He also emphasized the importance of effective public-private collaboration and policy coherence to ensure that health systems remain adaptable, competitive, and capable of responding to demographic change, workforce challenges and new skills, and ethics standards in healthcare.
We are thankful to Business at OECD and French Healthcare Association for convening this timely and valuable exchange, and we look forward to continuing to contribute to policy dialogue on the future of health and life sciences in Europe.
