The French Federation of Private Hospitals specialising in Medicine, Surgery and Obstetrics (FHP-MCO) has given the floor to 8 women, managers of private clinics and directors of regional health agencies, under the motto “We are legitimate”.
“8 March celebrates the place of women in our society. The health sector, which is largely feminised, relies on the dynamism of women, their creative energy and their reserves of ideas to improve and even reinvent the hospital system.
The large number of women managers in private clinics and hospitals attests to the progress made by our sector in terms of women in positions of responsibility, without however erasing all the inequalities that persist.
This 8 March remains important because it reminds us of what women have gained, but that there are still many shortcomings in terms of gender equality in our working lives.”
