“The Polish Association of Private Hospitals (OSSP) recognized the threat of cyberattacks targeting the healthcare sector back in 2022. We highlighted this in a publication describing the threat, which was distributed to our members and published on the OSSP website. Since then, representatives of Polish private hospitals have been lobbying the Ministry of Health to create a financial program that would allow for individual or group insurance of IT systems. We are currently negotiating with the Ministry of Health on specific proposals for programs to protect our systems. The Cybermanual is a tool that raises awareness among employees at all administrative levels in healthcare institutions. It is intended for both entry-level staff and managers responsible for managing the NIS2 Directive.”
