Last 6 June, Health First Europe (HFE), a non-profit, non-commercial alliance of patients, healthcare workers, academics, healthcare experts and the medical technology industry, held its annual General Assembly and elected the new Executive Committee for 2023-2025.
Ms. Ilaria Giannico, UEHP Secretary General, was re-elected for her 4th two-year mandate as Board member of HFE on behalf of the European Union of Private Hospitals.
UEHP has been member of this alliance since its creation in 2004 and this continued collaboration has proven effective throughout the years on a number of projects mainly focusing on:
- Integrated care
- Antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
- Patient safety
- Prevention & early diagnosis
- Education & training for healthcare professionals
