Last 5th October, Business at OECD (BIAC) organized the 2023 Health Forum at OECD in Paris. This year’s theme was Healthcare as a Key for Economic Resilience.
The seminar was organized in the framework of the work carried on within the BIAC Health Committee which focuses on the OECD’s health agenda and proactive initiatives to explore how health policies can bridge gaps across government agencies and enable business-led contributions to better health outcomes. UEHP is member of this committee.
Our President, Dr Paul GARASSUS, was invited to join the Health Forum as panelist to the first panel discussion about data driven value creation, measurement and planning, bringing the private hospitals voice to the debate. In particular, panelists and participants reflected upon what advantage can Artificial Intelligence bring to the healthcare sector? How to ensure quality of care all along the care pathway while improving patient experience?
Following the Health Forum, the UEHP President and Secretary General were delighted to visit Sanofi‘s biotech plant to learn more about drug discovery and manufacturing.
