3 – 5 May, Izmir: 8th International Health Tourism Congress

Dear Participants,

The “International Health Tourism Congress” started its activity in 2005, by improving the Health Tourism in our country as its vision, by conducting researches in the field of Health Tourism, making cooperation with institutions and organizations related to Health Tourism, developing health tourism in our country and contributing to tourism as its mission. The eighth of the “International Health Tourism Congress”, organized every year by the “Health Tourism Association of Turkey” and held in the year 2015, will be held between May, 3-6 2018 in Kusadasi/Aydin.

In the 7 successful congresses we have left behind as the “Health Tourism Association of Turkey”, both domestic and international, with public and private sector participation, by contributing to the development of the Health Tourism sector in our country and reaching more participants in each congress than in the other years, we have brought together the national and international stakeholders in our field and increased the awareness and development of Health Tourism.

In the scope of “International Health Tourism Congress“ that we will organize, panels, conferences, face to face (B2B) interviews and similar activities will enrich the congress, also academicians, public and private organizations, non-governmental organizations, investors, sector representatives and business representatives will be invited as well as leading domestic and foreign invited speakers.

In the congress we will organize, we feel great honor and happiness to see you among us to create new opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors in Health Tourism, to provide development, to make national and international publicity of all health and thermal enterprises in our country, to highlight our country in the order of health tourism destinations and to find solutions to our problems.

UEHP will be speaking at the congress on 4th May, about the position of private hospitals towards the implementation of the EU Directive 24/2011 on patients’ rights to cross-border healthcare.
