Once again this year, the European Private Hospital Awards (EPHA), organised by the Portuguese Association APHP and its President Oscar GASPAR, was a major event which highlighted the involvement of the private hospital sector in Europe in promoting innovation and efficiency.
We received 86 applications from 10 Member States. A prestigious independent international jury awarded 7 prize winners, but it is the profession as a whole that deserves our thanks. We were also honoured to have the Minister of Health of Portugal present for this second edition.
The private hospital sector, which UEHP represents in all its components, is strengthened in its commitment and by the principle of these events, which are an expression of the development of accessible medical progress for European citizens.
Many thanks to all of you, and we look forward to seeing you next year for the third edition of the Awards, which will be held in Bucharest and organised by the Romanian Association chaired by Cristian HOTOBOC.
