UEHP was invited to the 60th anniversary of BIAC’s collaboration with the OECD.
We are honoured to be a member of BIAC and to be able to participate in work that promotes interaction between health professionals and international institutions.
This major event was an opportunity to reinforce our motivation as a partner in innovation for the benefit of the community. Beyond the speeches and the reminder of the actions undertaken, we felt an enormous sense of pride on behalf of the private sector in being recognised as one of the essential components of social progress. There is still a long way to go in terms of opening up new perspectives. The technological revolution in health data, which will have a major impact on our organisations, is an opportune moment to recall our commitment and our capacity for initiative.
Progress in health must be shared, but it must be co-ordinated with all available forces: yes, we are proud that in BIAC, as in all the European working groups to which we are invited, we carry the voice of the private hospital sector. This is our specificity, as the OECD has reminded us, and it is also our pride!
