At a moment when the EU is discussing the new European budget with a new financial framework beginning in 2021, we are enthusiastic about the real ambition presented by European Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen, at the European Parliament concerning the future of health.
On 4th February, World Cancer Day, with the support of EU Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, Stella Kyriakides, and the Chair of the MEPs against Cancer group (MAC), Véronique Trillet-Lenoir, the President of the European Commission expressed her full engagement in the fight against cancer which was shared by all participants including UEHP.
The fight against severe diseases is our everyday work. We are proud to be a partner of this huge challenge, offering relevant solutions to patients in all Europe. The civil society and we, as healthcare providers, are fully engaged and reiterate our commitment in participating in all the positive collaborative processes announced by the EU top Officials.
