UEHP announces updated cartography of Private Hospitals across Europe

Brussels, 10 December 2025 – The European Union of Private Hospitals (UEHP) is pleased to announce the release of its newly updated cartography available on its website. This comprehensive and interactive mapping tool allows users to explore private hospitals and clinics across Europe with improved usability, updated information, and enhanced visibility of healthcare providers in each member country.

The revamped map offers a clearer overview of the private hospital landscape throughout Europe, helping citizens, professionals, and policymakers easily locate facilities and access data regarding private healthcare services by country, name and speciality. With growing demand for accessible and high-quality care, this update reflects UEHP’s ongoing commitment to strengthen healthcare transparency and availability.

UEHP President, Mr Gaspar, commented: “The map of Europe is also a map of private hospitals and clinics. We are increasingly present in people’s lives. These are highly differentiated hospital networks and many local hospitals that contribute to stronger and more resilient healthcare systems. The mapping of private hospitals in Europe has now been updated, making it easy to find out where they are and what they do.”

The updated cartography highlights the significant role of private healthcare providers in Europe’s healthcare landscape and reinforces UEHP’s mission to promote innovation, efficiency, and accessibility in patient care.

Visitors can now explore the new map directly through the UEHP website, where additional resources and information on private hospital activities in Europe are also available: www.uehp.eu
