Last 31 January, the European Union of Private Hospitals (UEHP) held its elective general assembly in Paris, kindly hosted by the French Association of Private Hospitals (FHP).
Mr Oscar GASPAR was unanimously elected as the new President of the European Union of Private Hospitals for a mandate of two years.
He succeeds French neurologist Dr Paul GARASSUS, who led the European Union of Private Hospitals for a decade. We warmly thank Dr GARASSUS for his outstanding leadership.
Mr GASPAR also chairs the Portuguese Association of Private Hospitals; he is a member of the Board of CIP Portuguese Business Confederation and of the Portuguese Economic and Social Council. He is also vice-president of CIP’s Health, Prevention and Well-being Council, a member of the National Health Council and the National Public Health Council, the Advisory Boards of the Health Regulatory Authority and of the Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, as well as the General and Supervisory Board of Dignitude. He is also on the board of the Gil Foundation.
Mrs Béatrice NOËLLEC (FR) and Mr Cristian HOTOBOC (RM) were elected as Vice Presidents.
